Biography:

Rick is currently serving his eight term as Oneida County Legislator, 8th District.

He is a member of the following County Committees:

Public Safety (Chairperson), Ways & Means, and Public Works

Special Committees/ Advisory Boards:  Alternatives to Incarceration, County DWI, and County Fire Advisory Board

 

Rick has a B.S. Degree in Business/Public Management @ SUNY IT and a B.S. Degree in Education @ SUNY Cortland.

He had 32 years as a NY State Employee, retired as Supervising Correction Counselor.

Rick was formerly employed with Division for Youth and Office of Mental Hygiene (CNYPC).

Rick is a lifelong resident of Oneida County residing on Fox Road with his wife Cindy.

Rick's children Tyler, Amanda (Herthum)  and Conner all reside in the County.

Description:

Currently 23 Representatives serve on the County Board of Legislators. 

The 8th District covers the Town of Marcy, and parts of the Town of Floyd & Whitestown.

Responsibilities:
The Board of Legislators is the governing, appropriating, and policy-making body for Oneida County.
